Silver Fox Labeling is the controller of your personal information (“Information”) and uses it in accordance with all relevant data protection legislation including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). By using the Silver Fox Labeling website (“Website”) you accept the terms of this Privacy Policy. 

1. Types of Information we collect 

1.1 We may collect and store Information whenever you use the Website by the use of Cookies which are alphanumeric identifiers that may in some cases be transferred to your computer’s hard drive via your browser to enable our computers to recognise your browser when you use the Website. 1.2 Our web-servers may automatically store the following Information about you: your ISP, your IP address, your web browser type and version, the number of colours your screen is displaying, your operating system, the URL you clicked to get to the Website, and what your e-shop currency preferences are. This Information is per session only and is used to make the website operate more efficiently. You may not be able to purchase products from our eStore without providing this Information. 

1.3 You do not have to provide any Information in order to use the Website. Access to certain sections and features of the Website is dependant upon the provision of Information and without that Information we may be unable to provide such access or features. 

1.4 You may be asked to provide the following Information in the course of using the Website, setting up an account and ordering products from us: name, company name, address, e-mail address, telephone number and fax number. We will store transaction data if you order products from us which includes details of the products you have ordered and payments you have made. We also use software platforms that may collect information regarding your company and location if available. 

1.5 We record and store details of your preferences in receiving marketing from us. You will receive marketing communications from us if you have requested information from us or purchased products or services from us and you have not opted out of receiving that marketing. 

1.6 We will receive Information about you from third parties or publicly available sources whenever we carry out credit checks or identity checks upon you.

2.1 We will only use your Information as allowed under the UK GDPR. The lawful bases we generally rely on for processing your Information are:

3.2 If you use our proprietary software within a labelling solutions application made available by one of our partners (such as Belden, Farnell and CommScope), we may share your Information with such partner. 

3.3 We may share your Information with a third party to whom we transfer our business assets (which include Information) on sale or merger of any part of our business. 

3.4 We may transfer your Information as required to obtain legal advice, comply with legal requirements, protect its rights and property, and the safety of its employees, clients, suppliers and others. 

3.5 We do not generally transfer your Information outside the UK. If we ever do need to transfer your Information outside the UK, we will ensure that a similar degree of protection is afforded to it as in the UK by either: 

i. Only transferring your Information to countries that have been deemed by the UK government to provide an adequate level of protection; or 

ii. Using specific contracts approved for use in the UK that give personal data the same level of protection it has in the UK. 

4. How we store you personal information

4.1 We have in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed.
